Hello to everyone on this glorious summer Friday. I’m writing to announce TWO fundraising opportunities before I take the links en masse on the World Wide Web. Both events will have 100% of proceeds going to the National Network of Abortion Funds. Let’s raise some money, shall we?

FIRST UP: If you’re in the New York area, or simply want to be, I’ll be cooking an *intimate* dinner at OStudio on Saturday, July 23rd.

Susan Kim will be joining me in the kitchen, C. Cassis Spritzes and Good Vodka martinis will be poured, wines from Zev Rovine will be flowing, vegetables from Natoora will be eaten, lamb will be cooked, there will probably be shrimp cocktail and, of course, #lotsofdill.

I don’t cook public dinners often, but they are as fun and chaotic as you can imagine. It’s going to be a delightful evening for a much needed cause, and I hope you can join!

SECONDLY: For those who can’t make it IRL, I am hosting an online cooking class/Q+A on Wednesday, July 27th at 7pm EST.

We'll be making some sort of summery pasta with some sort of delightful salad, there will be vegetarian/vegan modifications, BYO wine.

Participants will receive a PDF of the recipes as well as ingredient list/equipment needs one week prior to the class.

We'll cook, we'll hang, we'll spend time together on a computer screen while we raise money for something that shouldn't need fundraising for and pretend it's totally normal!
